Choose Small Steps Over Giant Leaps

By starting slow,
you’re more likely to be able to manage small changes in your habits
than trying to take on drastic changes.
“Start slow and track your progress.
Instead of setting out to exercise every day of the week for an hour,
commit to exercising for ten minutes five times a week”.
“Then, gradually increase it - instead of 10 minutes, do 15, then make it 20 and so on.”

My day was a melting pot of activities!

Spent the morning checking the ads
and updating my ebay purchases.
I made a grocery list,
got the approximate cost of John`s dental work (omg!)
and then it was off to London with Judy,
to do some grocery shopping
and a quick stop at Michael`s.

We got home,
got all the purchases put away
and got Judy off to work.
John and I then headed off,
to get air in the truck tire (oops found a nail in it),
to pay Rogers
and then pick up some movies.

Our plan to have 24 hours of movie and sofa time,
ended almost as quickly as it was thought up.

We got home in time,
to find out the house across the street,
had been auctioned off BUT our neighbours
will be allowed to continue renting.

So the boys decided to have a garage party.

That left me to my own devices.
So I decided...
a movie "Mom`s night out"
doritos and pyjamas!
What a great movie for all the mom's
who think they aren't getting it right.
I followed it with "Love Punch"
and it was too stupid NOT to laugh at!
Would watch either one again.

Tomorrow is family day!
We have a stack of movies,

to sit and enjoy together
and then a big chicken dinner!

Then it will be Judy off to work,
John back to work,
and the house will be mine once more.

This week,

while some of our trouble making compatriots
are off on a cruise,
leaving us behind in this icky weather,
WE HAVE to do something
they will be envious we got to do!
Shoveling snow and wearing 3 sweaters
isn't going to cut it!

ANYONE?

Good night from John Street
