A day full of good intentions.

I got up before everyone,

thinking a little peace and quiet 

but was followed down the stairs to confront

a miserable looking day.

We took a vote amongst us,
and decided that it would be ok to go with the plans
we made last night.
Back yard - yard work was on the slate.

Judy was quite brilliant 
and pulled out a "no chores today" gift card 
we had given to her for christmas.

So I was on for the inside of the house,
and cleaned up the mess I made yesterday.

John went bananas
in the backyard!
Cutting down, weeding, cleaning
and making the backyard look good.

Judy headed off to work,
and we had an Italian dinner
and John was off to work again.

Judy and I had a movie and milkshake night
and now it is time to head to bed.
