Christmas purchases account for 1/6 of all retail sales in the U.S.

I love to get gifts for others
at this time of year.

Today was filled with running around
and finishing up some chores.

Mom and Dad
picked up their house keys
and Dad was the first one
through the door.
He proudly pulled the keys
out of his pocket...
as he was the only one
with any!

I cannot believe it is almost midnight.
I have so much yet to do
and I have to be at the house,
for 8am when the movers
are scheduled to arrive.

So many more chores exist
but alas....
they will have to wait.

It is time for some sleep.
