Congratulations Nick and Adrianne!!!!!

The Groom looked amazing
but the bride stole the show.
She was gorgeous.
For a girl who did not want
to wear all that "girlie" stuff
Adrianne you were a vision!

It was a hot day.

We left as soon as John

got home from work

and changed into some shorts.

We also left the house 2 more times

after returning over and over,

the last time because I had forgotten

MY DRESS!

We hit some traffic

but got to Mom's in plenty of time

to get ready and to the church.

Dad got up out of his chair

and walked up the aisle

to his Grandson's wedding mass!

We had an afternoon break

while John grabbed a power nap,

then headed to the tent

dreading what we were headed for,

the temperature was pretty high.

Lots of parking,

Huge tent, outdoor bathrooms

and no camera.

Yup, me the scrapbooker did not

bring a camera to this event.

I will have to trust

that the bride and groom

will share their favourites.

The photographer

took SOOOOO many family photos

that the dinner was almost an hour late!

BUT

was so worth it! YUMMMMM

The caterer was the brides brother.

He put out buns, roasted baby potatoes,

green and yellow beans, pot roast,

chicken ratatouille (omg yumm).

lasagana (I went back for seconds yummmm),

and 2 kinds of salad.

The cupcakes for dessert were all adorned

with well made icing flowers.

Some touching (L-O-N-G) speeches,

mine was short.

Mom and Dad had perma smiles all day!

Dad says his face hurts today.

BTW! That suit Mom is wearing

is what she wore to Nick's Mother's wedding

25 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She figures they lasted 25 years,

so she considers this bringing good luck!

Open bar meant John was drinking,

and dancing ALL night.

I had an attack about 9pm,

thankfully after my speech,

and spent most of the dancing

sitting and watching everyone.

Everyone had a good time.

The bride and groom were so happy

and enjoyed their night.

A long day,

a hot day,

the end of the day has come.

Good night from Beamsville....

we'll drive home tomorrow.
