The days get shorter...
When you have a bazillion things
To do... everywhere.

Coffee at Valleyview for 10
So I was off on a mission
For donuts (actually muffins today)
And a tea biscuit for later.

Found him sleeping by the fire
When I arrived at 10.
Dropped off some puzzles,
Delivered a cup holder,
Measured a chair for a bag,
Served coffee,
Made gift bags (8) with Dad,
Donated a wreath as a fundraiser
For the home's activity program,
Ate a treat with Dad,
Cleaned up and sent
Dad off for lunch.

Did some banking,
Home to grab some things,
Say good night to John
And pick up the van
All by 12:30.

Next I was off to the condo.
Mom had several chores
She was having problems doing
So I:
*Washed a 40 year old stocking
She was too scared to
*plugged in an end to end
Set of lights that was giving
Her grief about attaching
*put a star on a tree
*put beads on a tree,
*hung stockings
*put beads in railing garland
*decorated her mantle
*tried to hook up a timer
But it didn't fit in the weatherproof
Outdoor box!
All before she got home
From church and the library.

Then I was off to the garage
I managed to make
Another 8 wreaths today!

I cooked us supper,
When John called to say
He was on his way in this slop.
(It has been snowing since 1pm)
Steak and onions, cauliflower
And butter and herb noodles,
With poached cinnamon apples
For dessert. Mmmmmmm

At 9:30
We said good night.
She was laying in her chair,
Happily looking at her tree
And lights...

We drove home in the slop
(It has been raining for about an hour)
I was going to do some chores,
But chores involved me
Staying up and I was not
Feeling up to that.
Besides
I have to be in London
To see my specialist at 8 ugly o'clock
Tomorrow morning !

I made a tea,
Sent John off to work
And I am comfortably crashing
In my nicely made bed.

Meds - yes
Alarm - yes

Anything else can wait!
