December 11th 2015

Busy busy day.
I was up and at em early
and spent the morning
getting Santa's beard
and hair all combed and unknotted.



We got to the party
right on time.

LDO never had a clue
what hit them.



It was a lovely afternoon of food and friends and fun. Gifts were not the main reason for all of us to gather..... it was the food.

Even Judy was dressed
for the occasion.





It was a great start to the day,
After an afternoon nap,
It was off to a Christmas Tupperware party
with Anne, Jen and Connie.
We had a lot of fun and stopped
on the way home to see the amazing
light display in Port Stanley.

Hard to believe anyone
could do that much work for charity,
and it was absolutely a beautiful night
to walk through all those lights.

Thought for today: stars

Sometimes the word of the day,
isn't always a literal thought.
There are so many ways to look at stars.

Obviously the Star of Bethlehem
is my first choice,
but after seeing the beautiful display
those amazing people in Port Stanley
put on for the Make a Wish foundation
I think the stars I am thinking about...
are those who put aside
parts of their life
to make others better.

Those people are the stars of my Christmas this year.
