I slept in and had a relatively calm relaxing morning.

It was actually a beautiful day for a drive,

so Caroline and I did.

We left the house and headed for Mount Brydges

and the Hollandia cookie factory.

Next the Gingerbread Haus bakery

in Komoka/Kilworth for hamburger buns

and a cookie for Judy.

Next we headed to Scrappin Great Deals

for technique tuesday.

We made a lovely card and learnt how to fake

the chalkboard look!

We headed out to the gluten free

bakery which was closed (boo)

and then headed back into town.

It was apparently meant to be.

Just as we started down Talbot Street,

we seen a loose bulldog running around,

we did a quick turn around

and with another ladies help (she had another dog)

we managed to coral him and get him on a leash.

I am happy to say this friendly guys family WAS

looking for him and they were reunited.

John had a dental fitting today

and is so happy with what was done.

His teeth fit MUCH better,

and it is no longer painful to put them in 

or take them out.

We did a bazillion chores tonight on John Street.

dishwasher emptied, sink soaking a couple dishes, 2 counters wiped off, 10 basket chip stand is cleared and outside, dining room table cleared and set for supper, 6 double loads of laundry and 2 regular in washers, got rid of all the loose balloons in the dining room, cleaned out the fridge, Johns teeth delivered to dentist, cut up cucumbers, tomatoes and onions for burgers tonight, banking done, wiped down the cupboards AGAIN, laundry moved into dryers, peeled potatoes and made potato salad, got everything in the bowl for homemade hamburgers, went and got hot dogs and buns, vacuum sealed the hot dogs into meal sizes (as they come in packages of 24) and threw the extra in the freezer, John showered and shaved, wiped down the counters YET AGAIN, gathered garbage, swept the main floor, wiped down the fridge, supper eaten, chores handed out to my peeps, folded towels, linens and dishcloths, my clothes and Johns, tomato plant watered (I always forget), front porch straightened, living room straightened, beds both got clean sheets on them, dining room cleared, wet non-dryer-able clothes hung, all folded laundry delivered to the right bedrooms and everything else put away, dishes done and kitchen clean.

Kinda nice when the 3 of us are home

and we can pitch in and get all the jobs done

in a short period of time.

Then I got my break.
Judy upstairs studying,

John taking a nap,

and me sitting in a mostly cleaned up house

with not much to do.

It was actually boring...

It is now 10:30 and John is headed back to work,

so I have the whole bed again tonight.
