Today was a bit of a mash up of last minute TO DO's.
Got Dad out to the Yurek's people, and then we were off to Wimpy's for lunch. Got a call from Mom and Brenda while we were there. They had done some sampling at a moonshine factory. Sober they were not!
We finished our lunch, a western sandwich for Dad and a hot beef for me.
Took Dad back for a nap and found a party going on. We even found Charlotte there doing the entertainment. The girls were the singing group.
I rested for the afternoon, did Dad's laundry, got gas in the van and headed back to Valleyview.
About 7pm, Charlotte and Anne showed up and we all played chicken foot dominoes. We laughed, we joked, we talked and suddenly it was 9:30pm!
I headed home and got some comfy pjs on and watched "Bucket List". The snack was cheese and crackers.
Soon after, Judy arrived home from her very first shift at Pizza Pizza. She loved it. It's funny when she was 7, she told us she was going t be an air cadet, and did it, well! When she was 12 she told me one night she was going to work at this particular Pizza Pizza. Tonight she did that too.
Then she and a couple friends headed down to Iron Horse festival to see April Wine.
Its 11pm and I am exhausted. I am headed to bed, this week has been fun, busy and exhausting.
