The day that never seemed to run out of time.
I woke early and ran the Monte Carlo out for its e-test (at 8:30am) that we knew it would fail. Some mass sensor needs to be replaced. After being jerked around all morning by mufflerman, FINALLY at 1:30pm and another diagnostic test ($136), he advised me there was $659 worth of repairs to be done.
I advised him he was insane.
I went and got temporary plates
and we are looking for parts estimates.....
yeah. A gas cap seal is cracked and a vent is blocked....
for them to fix it.... $329!!!!!!!!
Anyway................. thanks to Charlotte,
I managed to get to LDO and see Bernice for her birthday. ALSO managed for the umpteenth time to sign her card on the wrong side/upside down...... got some free food samples at A&P and a did a bit of gossiping and laughing.
Got to the bank and converted Canadian $$$$$$ to American $$$$$$ for this weekends trip to Saginaw MI. with the girls. Went to the grocery store and got John's truck groceries, came home did a few chores and then.....

BUT
a philly cheese steak poutine is sooooo yummy.

Took Judy and Chelsey for their first time. Double Pork (bacon and pulled pork) Poutine for one and Chicken Fajita Poutine for the other. Cailyn met us there and we all pigged out.
We just did not feel full enough (ugh) so we headed over to Forrats Chocolates and Lounge for a dessert fondue. The girls had never done this either! After their eyes bugged out of their head, we all ate enough chocolate for 6..... we decided this night could not get any better...

Sometimes the silliest conversations start very innocently!
The ride home was a big laugh with all of us over full, and on a sugar high too! Thanks for a fun night girls.......
Now I am off to pack for an overnight shopping trip to Saginaw MI and Frankenmuth MI. My ride gets here at the crack of "shouldn't I just be getting up now???"
