What a comfy bed. I slept most of last night. Our breakfast is included and waffles is on the menu!
I love waffles.
We managed somehow to pack up the car with all our purchases up till now and our suitcases, then headed over to the Joanne's to check out the sales. YAY for new Disney paper AND it was on sale PLUS we had a coupon.
Our next stop was Frankenmuth MI. Last night we drove through the parking lot of Bronner's to see the lights. Today we are taking Connie to see it for the first time. We arrived right as the doors opened. We got photos of ourselves taken at the entrance and then headed in to look around. It is as pretty as I remembered and Connie had a big smile. Anne has not been here in many many years, and Charlotte was visiting for the second time this year today.
We stayed in Bronner`s for a few hours taking our breaks in the small cafeteria that sells warm pretzels...mmmmmmm.
We drove off to the center of town and taste tested cheeses at the Cheese Haus, watched them pull salt water taffy **and taste tested**, watched them make fudge **and taste tested**, watched them hand dip chocolates **and taste tested**. We did manage to get Connie to see Zehnders and the Bavarian Inns before starting our trip home. Oh, and we heard a polka band playing live on the street too.
Our very last stop was at the Port Huron Cracker Barrel for supper.
What a great shopping trip.
We managed to get home before 10pm too!
