A very low key Easter.

We had brunch

Hot cross buns, tea biscuits

And coloured Easter eggs

While we opened our Easter baskets.

After a quick clean up,

A rousing game of rummoli

Where mom spent most of the game

Losing badly - only to end up -

Like all of us, breaking even.

Cool.

Tink spent the time

Traveling lap to lap

Depending on who had snacks!

It was BEAUTIFUL outside,

So we grabbed chairs and sat outside,

Gave Tink som "chase the ball" exercise,

And was joined by Gwen and John3

For a little bit.

We went back in to prep supper,

While John2 did a repair on the deck,

Planted some flowers

And loaded the car.

I found the last half of "Easter Parade"

On tv and we sang along as we watched.

Dinner was also low key.

Homemade mac and cheese,

Coloured Easter egg 

With lemon meringue pie for dessert.

After a quick clean up

And a couple small chores,

We were heading home.

Mom was heading to the tv.

Very full, 

And fresh air worn out,

We found a movie 

- how to train your Dragon 3

And sat watching that.

Work clothes washed and hung,

A load of dishes washed.

Now we have an early morning tomorrow.

I have remicade

And my lovely car is going in

To have a repair done on it

That was booked LAST FALL.

John will be doing that.

So bedtime here.
