What a great day!
Judy and I slept late,
Did a few chores,
Had lunch with our guys,
Spent the afternoon relaxing and
Playing a couple board games.

It was John's night to cook
And he chose seafood pasta
With swordfish and marlin steaks
A wild green salad and fresh bread!
Amaretto Biscotti gelato
With chocolate cream pie for dessert
And a bottle of cabernet merlot.

None of us could move
when we were finished.

Eventually we put Judy in the wheelchair
And all took a nice walk
In the cool night air
With Shooter.

A little conversation with some neighbours,
And it is suddenly midnight.

Princess Judy turns into a pumpkin then
So all guests must leave.
Thank goodness,
Cause I am B-E-A-T.
