September 13th 2015

Up early today, everyone was on a mission.

I needed to go grocery shopping!
Judy was off to a baseball tournament in Union.
John was braving the roof to replace shingles.

By about 2pm, I had my personal weekend To Do list for this weekend complete!!! I am quite proud that I actually did not have to move forward any of my chores.

John was in 3rd place, because although he did a TON of stuff this weekend, he veered off his own TO DO list, and fell short of completing everything.

Judy was doing well, until this afternoon, when she tripped at the ball field, and has damaged her right foot. No... the doctor is not sure what is wrong but assures her he will send the xray to a specialist (yeah right). So tomorrow when I go to St Joseph's Hospital in London, guess who is tagging along? I am off to see Dr Gregor to look into moving my Remicade from every 6 to every 5 weeks, the results from last month's testing and some questions about the plastic surgery. She is off for a second opinion at the Urgent Care Center there.

My house is coming along fine and almost back to normal and mostly neat and organized. My front garden looks amazing after a couple hours of weeding by yours truly.

Tonight was John's turn to cook. He slow bbq'd a roast beef dry rubbed in morrocan spices, with mashed potatoes, grilled corn on the cob and cherry turnovers for dessert! Goodness I love fall cooking!!!!!!!!

So tonight the kids are tucked in on the sofa watching a movie, and John is packing up to leave for the week again. So I think it's an early night for me. Maybe a nice night for a date with Archie and Jughead!

Good night from John Street.
