September 14th 2015

What a long day.
Up early to help the damaged teen get dressed,
and lucky me she had had 3 hours sleep!
So her mood was too early for me... and no caffeine.

We did get out of the house on time
and headed into London.
Fortunately,
the urgent care at St Joseph's Hospital
was right across
from where my Dr's appointment was.

Although....
my specialist appointment
took less than an hour
to answer all my questions,
get a specialist appointment for my eyes,
and refill my prescriptions...
from the time I arrived until I paid for parking
(and checked in with her)

Judy's "urgent" care visit took 4+ HOURS!!!!
She arrived at 10:30
and I picked her up just before 3.
No more xrays
but this doctor did take the time
to do an examinations of her now swollen
and discoloured foot.
It has been determined they were correct
no bones are broken,
but she has torn up to 3 ligaments
in her right foot.
Crutches, rest and naproxen for 7-10 days.

Got her home and she napped in the sun
had some comfort food for supper
and watched some tv.
Then it was off to bed to get some sleep tonight.
I just checked in and she is sound asleep.

Me?
I am off to bed.
Rumour has it
the weather is going to get sticky again this week.
So I may have to hide a bit.

Plans?
I have some Disney letters to write,
a christmas organizer to get typed up,
a gigantic zucchini (from Talbotville Berry Farm)
to cook up * zucchini steaks and stuffed zucchini.
Remicade is 3 days away,
so rest is on the main menu too.

Hoping to go have a cheesecake date this week too.

Good night from John Street.
