Half way through
the first month of 2017 already.

I needed a nap
after I woke up this morning,
like immediately!!!! hahahhaha

I had told Mom
I was doing MY cleaning
and straightening today.

So I dressed in track pants,
pulled my hair into a ponytail,
and dug in.
The house was not a mess,
just lots of little unfinished
chores and jobs
that only take 5-15 minutes.

I started with my planner,
made all the phone calls first,
then looked around
and added the jobs I wanted done,
and things that had to be finished.

By 4:30,
as I handed John a coffee to go,
and escorted him
out of the building,
my list was done,
supper made,
and I was headed up
for a lovely rest
before getting ready to go out
to a Close to my Heart party.

Mom was here promptly
at 6:15 and I took over
the driving.
We picked up Caroline,
and headed out.

A nice time was had by all.
I bought myself 
a new paper pack.

When I got home,
I packed a lunch,
made John some dinner,
and now it is time
to snuggle up in bed.

LDO tomorrow,
right after I go see a new dentist.
I am already getting nervous.
