The bonfire night.
Hot hot hot again today.

John was home early this morning
but managed to lay down for a bit
before popping out of bed
and mowing the back lawn
to straighten things up.



Then it was off to WalMart
for some groceries and supper
and a birthday cake.

We held supper until Judy got home
and then everyone came after 8pm.
A marshmallow/smores bonanza.

Lovely evening,
pets were entertaining,
everyone was behaved
and the food was good.

Hoping for a break from
the ugliest part of the hot weather,
so we can enjoy the birthday boy's
49th birthday.
