What better feeling is there
than new crisp sheets?
I lay here thinking how lovely
it is to be able to enjoy
something so genuinely nice
for no real reason.

Today was a hot one.

Joc and I spent the morning together

we got cookies at hollandia,

made a pit stop at ScrappinGreatDeals

and then a lovely visit at Talbotville Berry farm

where we were one of the first

to see them break ground

for the new store.

John and I went out when he got up

and got some new runners for Disney

some animal necessities

and a few household items.

Then stopped and paid all the Rogers bills.

Home again we found Judy

had thrown the shepherds pie casserole

into the oven and it was ready!

A discussion with Greg during dinner

struck a good deal to get

the front porch roof reshingled.

I got the kitchen clean

and we premade ham wrapped asparagus

for dinner tomorrow night.

Judy was surprised how easy it was.
