JANUARY 1 2016
Happy New Year.
Today was a late sleep in after a long night of partying with friends at a stag and doe in Union.
I had made a bet with John late late last night and lost, so his reward was a hot breakfast this morning. He was surprised finding me downstairs cooking perfect slices of bacon (crispy and flat) and waffles in my new waffle maker! We had a nice family breakfast, we each did a few chores and it was time to watch the Lethal Weapon 4 pack.
After the first DVD, each of us did a little chore and made a snack and it was back to the sofa for DVD 2. Supper had been prepped earlier this week, so it got thrown into the oven and half way through the third DVD it was ready! The yummiest shepherds pie we've had in a while. After a quick kitchen clean up and the making of the Christmas pudding we all hunkered in for DVD 4.
A relaxing day to say the least.
Tomorrow we will be hitting the job list.
2016 will be a year of changes, and that includes chores around here.
