Happy Easter everybody.

It was a hop to it kind of day here!

John is back on the road tonight,

so we declared it Easter today.

A wall of post it notes

was accomplished by 1pm.

Flower arrangements and decor

all completed. 

We then tackled the yard 

and got the winter trash collected from the gardens

the decor put away

and the urns filled.

Dinner was substituted with lupper,

as one needed a nap before he left

and one had to work at 4.

Our celebration started at 2pm 

with a sudden appearance 

by the Easter Bunny!!
Baskets full of goodies for each of us.

A lovely ham lupper

with scalloped potatoes, 

peas, cauliflower and broccoli.

We even had heat and serve buns!
(I love those)

cut glass salad and carrot cake for dessert.

Holidays come and go,

but a truck driving family 

has to grab the holiday 

on whichever day the trucker is home!

Spent the evening alone on the sofa 
watching Nanny McPhee 1 and 2
and receiving

feet of ribbon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That equals .08 of a mile!

Now it is time to head to bed and relax.
Another holiday is over.
