John was home early again,

So I lost the bed.

I was up, dressed, with makeup

And a real hairdo AND downstairs

Before 9am this morning.

Straightened a few things,

Loaded the cookies and a couple cokes 

Into John's car for this afternoon

And sat relaxing for a bit

Before a whirlwind day.

I was picked up just after 10am.

We were headed for Parkhill.

Stopped to get Mom and get gas

And we were on the road

For Hamlet's belated birthday gift.

There was a Christmas event

At an alpaca farm today and 

They have a llama too. 

She is currently obsessed with them.

We arrived early

The owners were super friendly

And very generous.

The money from this event

Was going to the food Bank.

There was a firepit,

Hot dogs, cookies, chocolate milk,

Hot chocolate and Christmas musice

Before we headed over 

To have our photos taken with Santa

And the Llama!

So much fun a nd a nice day to do it.

Left there and took Mom 

To Kaiser to see her old house

And her next door neighbours.

Off to the Strathroy diamond art store

And then headed for Southwold.

Arrived right at 2pm

For a celebration of life luncheon.

Mom left to go see Dad about 3.

I had met up with John there and

We stayed for the rest of the event.

We were back on the road at 5pm

And headed for Rail City Bistro

For a 60th birthday party

For our now olde friend Hal.

We had a couple drinks

And a loaf of pizza bread

Before heading home for the night.

We agreed to take the night off.

Pls and pain meds

And a couple episodes of a "series"

That should only have been a movie,

And John looks at me and sayd

"You ready for bed?"

 I looked at the clock - it was 8:30.

Are you kidding me?

Instead he found a silly funny movie

And we ended up finally going to bed

Before 11pm 

Which is more acceptable than 8:30.
