Where is the average line

In common courtesy now-a-days?

I witnessed a conversation

At Valleyview this morning

That actually floored me about

How great she is because

She can visit (less than an hour)

Once every 2 weeks!!! 

Her reasoning - which she announced

Quite proudly - should have

Embarrassed her for the rest of her life.

Then off to a funeral home

Not for the passed away but the living,

To find out that in a large group

We were the only ones to stop in.

I was beyond shocked.

Then off to Canada for Christmas.

Children running amok - not for Santa

But because everyone's heads were 

Down staring at their phones!!!

Driving home

We naturally experienced

The drivers not paying attention,

Speeding or indecisive driving

That causes so many accidents.

So it was nice 

To come home and find

Two thank you emails...

Ones unexpected but lovely to receive.

John and I spent the rest of the day 

As hermits, hiding from a world

Who has just forgotten how to be

Supportive and present in their own lives.

Seriously 

Just sitting here not understanding...

Do as you would want done for you.
