John was home earlier than usual.
No sleeping in today.

Up, track pants and a pony tail.
No where to go
And no one to see me,
I was in work clothes.

Lots of small stuff done,
But never got to the cookies!

Soup for supper
Was cream of brocolli and caulifower
With lots of old cheddar
And some fresh bread.
Carrot cake to finish.

While I cleaned the kitchen,
John went to work on vacuuming
Everything in sight.
No argument from me!

A quick shower
And I made it to bed by 10.

Now for a little reading
And then lights out.
