Anniversary day.
17 years ago
Judy finally moved into our home.
She was our Valentine's gift.

This year,
John and I spent it
Cleaning the house and doing laundry.
A far cry from the days
When "the Valentine's angel" came
And decorated everything in hearts
And brought smiles to a 3 year olds face.

John had errand in London
And popped over to do a son in law job
For mom.
I stayed with the cleaning
until I finally crashed around 4.

Made thick cut scalloped potatoes
With meatloaf and carrots for supper.

Back to the regularly scheduled program,
John is back to work tonight
And I have a bunch of chores tomorrow.

Happy to be hitting my bed early.
New book to start.
