AUGUST 27

August 27th 2017

What a day.

We started our day just after 9am.
John went out immediately
and mowed the back yard.
10am Mom was here
and we headed over to pick up
one more passenger.

Off to the parking lot at Elgin Mall,
where our passengers
would be boarding the bus 
for a trip to the Niagara Casino.

We got into the van and left
the 2 people and their scooters
all set for a fun road trip.

We went over
and filled the van's gas tank,
washed the van,
over to Shoppers for pop for the week,
off to Valleyview to pick up Dad,
over to Canadale to buy a gift...
they were so helpful and let Dad
shop RIGHT FROM THE VAN.

Then we were off to the condo,
so Dad could drop off the gift
AND see the new glass front door.

We were finally
ready to head to our house.
Got Dad all unloaded
and he spent the afternoon
inspecting the man cave
(first time seeing it)
and watching John and I work
around the yard.

John cooked lunch
and we had a perch dinner.

More yard organizing and planting
and Dad busy checking out
the pond and gardens 
and laughing at Otter chasing bugs.

All of a sudden it was 6pm.
I cooked supper,
Dad had mentioned he wanted
weiner wraps a while ago,
and its too hard to do for a sunday lunch.
So, supper was super easy.

We were busy watching 
Dances with Wolves
when we realized it was 9pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Loaded Dad up and got him back,
then waited for the phone call
to go pick up our weary travelers.

A nice day today was.
Not too hot, not too cold......
