What a temperature difference this morning!
From hot and sunny yesterday
to downright chilly this morning.

I spent a good portion of today,
working out fine details
for the cancer crop fundraiser
we have every april.

Today was all about
getting notes typed up neatly,
contacting vendors,
arranging tables,
making the final edits
on the menu and seating...
the stuff no one notices

UNLESS

you do it wrong.

Judy got up early
and did the laundry
so I spent today
getting it all folded.

Tonight we had a last minute meeting,
to arrange door prize
donation pick ups this week.

When I got home
John had raked
the rest of the gravel into place,
and it looks like 1 more yard
is needed to finishe all the edges.

We were both exhausted,
so we had sandwiches
for a late night supper,
and I am now too tired
to start another job.
