What use is this spring forward,
fall back nonsense???
All it does is confuse everyone,
force us to try to remember
how to change the clock in the vehicle,
make us late OR early for something,
and in general make everyone miserable.
Church this morning became 11am mass,
as we slept through the 9am one!
It was kind of amusing to watch
families slink in 10 - 15 minutes late
knowing full well what had happened!
Stopped by the pharmacy before mass
and ordered all my meds
and picked them up after.
How convenient that the pharmacy is located
directly across the street from our church
AND we park in front of it every week.
Then it was home,
a small breakfast
and decision time......
The house NEEDED some TLC
and we have been putting it off all week
or two weeks....whose counting?
Together, John and I,
created a massive TO DO list,
and set our goals on
getting it done!
I had my challengers on line,
Lale with 3 kiddo helpers
and poor Pam doing it all alone.
We successfully accomplished quite a bit
in the first 2 hours...
then it was time to do laundry...
Not bad as while it was washing,
John was off doing some chores.
He was back JUST IN TIME
to fold it all.
A quick pit stop at freshco
for some dinner menu items,
and a deposit at the bank,
found us home by 5:30.
Dinner was sausage on a bun
with deep fried French fries and coleslaw.
After a bit of tv
I sent John for a nap.
This sinus cold he has
is knocking him on his butt!
No list today!
Sunday is the day you load all the donations
into the vehicle and get rid of them.

to drop off some items for the 30 layouts
she builds every year for the April crop.
We had some success and some failure
with the current design.
At 10pm I packed up
I had promised to get ice cream
for the sick hubby,
so I picked it up with some Kleenex
on the way home....
Now it is time to get some shut eye.
I have an appointment at the cancer clinic
at 9 ugly o'clock in the am
with Christine for chemo.
