Happy BYOM day!
It is Bring Your Own Meat bbq day.

I slept in after a restless night,
Only woken
When Mom called at 10:30
Just after John got home.

Her dehumidifier
Soaked the basement carpet!

After that it was a super quick stop
To pick up pop
And bbq groceries.
Home I got them away
JUST as Dad arrived in the bus.

Got the back yard set up
And a beer in Dad's hand.
Mom arrived at that point.

By 3pm
John had joined us
And guests started arriving.

Laughter, lots of food
And birthday cake....
Great fun.

Now,
I am showered, sore and exhausted.
Bedtime.
