Some how,
Your house looks like a bomb hit it,
When you get home from
Staying in a hotel.

Could be you left it in that condition,

Could be your perceptions  of it
After being in a clutterless hotel,

Could be all the crap you took
Laying waiting to be put away,

Could be someone partied there
While you were away.

In any case,
Today's job was to "straighten"
And that's exactly what I did.

My house has "Almost"
Been reclaimed again.
All the travel laundry is done,
All the suitcases away,
Kitchen back to normal
After making 3 night's meals.
Dishes all done and fridge cleaned,
Memorabilia put away for scrapbooking,
Bed sheets stripped and replaced
AND the room vacuumed!
Packed for LDO,
Did a sewing repair
And even a grocery list got started.

John even did some yard work tonight.

Chicken wings for supper,
Garbage and recycling out...
It's time for a shower and bed.
