Happy Father's Day.

John and I split up at 8:30,
I took Mom to church
And he had his list to do.

We met back up at Valleyview.
It was going to be a warm one.

Coffee Sunday also included
The option of a strawberry daiquiri!
Residents liked it.

It was then time to get to work.
Off to "dad's gazebo"
To plant hostas and other plants
To jazz up the area.

A wonderful potluck
Was enjoyed by all.

A few more touch ups
And the gazebo will be amazing.
We were headed home by 2:30.

Due to an unexpected health concern,
My hubby has put me on bed rest.
So I had a nap
And then read for the evening.

Here's to a better tomorrow!
