Up, showered and conditioned
The mop of hair,
Then out of here.
Off to Timmies for donuts
And then to Valleyview
For coffee with Dad.

John was just pulling in to
St Thomas so we went out
For lunch together.

He headed home
And I hit a couple dollar stores
Before heading home.

The rest of the day
I spent attached to the recliner.
Lazy and laying about.

I ordered pizza for supper,
I ate 1 slice.
So happy to be eating solid food.

Now John is gone,
And this lazy lump
Is off to bed.
