Can you imagine me with laryngitis?

Well John can,
He did a laugh dance when he heard
Me try to speak today.

Thankfully
Today did not entail doing much
As the house is looking pretty good.

At 7am the dog wanted out
So I put away dishes
Did a bit of straightening
And made myself a tea.
Back to bed to read and

I ended up sleeping in,
Getting up at 11am.
Got dressed in "fancy pjs"
And spent most of the day
Drinking tea and watching tv.

John and I relaxed all night
And had a late supper
Of baked tortellini.

Now I am off to bed,
Dad's party is tomorrow.
