April 16th 2017

Happy Easter
and an early one here on John Street.

Up and at 'em at 7am
so we would be ready early enough
to go pick up Dad
to go to church this Easter Sunday.

We got to church in plenty of time,

and met up with Mom and Judy

at the elevator doors.

After mass we headed

for the Vineden house

where the breakfast table was set

and laden with gifts.

Fun playing around,

opening gifts

and munching on hot cross buns.

That was when Dad said

he needed a nap,

so we set him up in his chair,

which must have been comfy,

cause he snored away

for a good 2 hours.

Our dinner today

included a turducken!

Not bad.

We were all completely

full and uncomfortable.

After 6pm,

we all headed to the basement

INCLUDING Dad

to play a little "bang ball" pool.

Not a lot of rules,

just screwing around

trying to hit balls on the pool table.

A lot of laughs,

more food

and I am just too tired

to keep going.
