What a beautiful day.

Barring the fact
that alarm clock SSSSS
went off during
ugly o'clock in the  morning,
it has been a grand day.

Today was screens free/
family day at Valleyview.
After a hamburger lunch
we all walked around the building.
Not only were we able to see
where Dad had seen the deer
this week!!! But
we also actually saw
the chipmunks he was talking about
in the same area he spotted
the rabbit this week.

It's so nice that the conservation area
is so close to this area for him
to be able to enjoy the wildlife.

We also saw the doves, some robins
and of course squirrels on our walk.

Dad was ready for a nap
and Mom was off
to her house to do some
"doggie detail" work in the yard,
so John and I headed home.

It was so nice,
John thought he would clean up
the messy between the houses area
and get rid of a trailer full of crap.
Instead,
the 2 of us inadvertently
managed to clean the entire one side
of the property and mulch the gardens.

Completely the opposite side
we were planning to work on.

We also said good bye
to the Blue Pearl that had served us so well
for the last 6 years.
Sad moment when it left.
I really did love that truck.

Supper was pierogies
and John went to soak in the tub.

I am soon to the shower
to try to get all the sap and itch
off my hands
from trimming the topiary tree.

The yard looks so much better,
but my little sunburn seems a bit early!

No computers tomorrow,
just my phone if you are looking for me.
They are being cleaned up.
