What a day!
They were here by 9am,
and by 5 the tree was gone.

It was fascinating
to watch how they take
a 100 year old tree down from the top.
They found a lot of hollow areas
in the branches and one
five foot deep hollow branch
that was a squirrels home
until today!

I spent the rest of the day
straightening, cleaning
went out for coffee,
and washed my car.
Yup I am the reason it rained
this evening.

Tonight, I plan to
vacuum my room
and fold some laundry before bed.

The kitchen is clean
and John's supper is ready
for 3am when he gets home tonight.
