What a day and thank you to my "challenging friends" for getting me going today. I am thoroughly organized and the house is clean.

I also got to spend some time with a couple of Judy's friends while we shopped tonight. Remember school dances and wishing you had that perfect dress? Or watched a movie and wished you could have a dress just like the one they have?

My favourite was always the black one from White Christmas.

Today we found Judy's semi dress. I think it is a dream dress. It fits her like a glove and is an amazing silver color. The theme for the dance is winter wonderland, so she is going to look amazing. It is almost as pretty as she is!

Plans for tomorrow's LDO are made providing the weather stays good. Tomorrow night Judy and I are going to attack a bunch of small jobs to get the house ready for her Jam Berry nail party on Sunday.

Now for another 8 amazing ideas!

  • Take the family out to the same restaurant every year before picking out the tree
  • Don't shop during peak hours. Avoid lunchtime and saturdays
  • Don't wait until 1am to start assembling the "some assembly required" toys
  • If you enjoy baking or cooking, make double batches
to help out friends or family that get too busy to do it
  • Enjoy Christmas music in your vehicle,
at work and in your home to keep you in the holiday spirit
  • When you don't know what to give, give a book.
    (cook book, journal, comic book)
  • Sometime during the season, take the time to look through the Sear's Christmas Wish-book
(first thing that gets done here on John St)
  • Fill a basket with old holiday photos and put in a prominent spot
Good night
