I have decided

Life on my terms.

It's necessary at some point

To realize you are NOT

The only one who has a disease.

You are however the only one

Who has immediate control

Of how you deal with it!

It is time to "woman up" 

For some of us!

Not every little tiny thing

That happens to us

Has to be a major life crisis!

My comparison for illness

Is to any person who has "____"

That requires chemo, radiation

And still will not give them back

Their normal expected life.

A child who has to deal

With any illness before it even

Has a chance to have made a life.

Unless that health issue 

You are moaning about compares...

Be thankful.

Consider your luck.

Then get up and deal with it.

A name for anything is not a cure.

Sometimes it's just a name

And there is no cure.

It's high time we started

Being more thankful

For what we DO NOT have...

And less whiney about what

Cross we have to bear.
