January 10th 2020

More divorce happens in the month of January than in any other month in United Kingdom.

Is that because the credit card bills

From Christmas arrive then??????

Ok! Today sucked.

Like on a big lemon sucked.

I woke up more tired 

Than when I went to bed!

Up and going anyway 

Because I had a lot of little jobs

That were time consuming.

By 1pm I could not stay up.

Back to bed for a nap,

Woke up and was starving.

Not feeling fantastic but better.

Loaded up the van to drop off

All the crop equipment and food,

And I sorted the raffle items

Before they were back for the second load.

Reloaded,

Waited for a delivery

And we were off for last minute items

And fresh groceries.

We tried to have a bite to eat at Harveys

But after waiting 10 minutes

And no one was moving

We decided to leave... we asked a man

Who just got his burger how long

It had taken... 45 minutes.

The burgers aren't THAT good!

We went to A&W and were greeted, 

Served and ate in less time!

At this point I should have 

Recognized the signs

But alas, I did not.

A quick onset crohn's attack.

A bit of hassle and a pain med

And we moved on.

We finished the groceries

And headed for hall to set up.

After much debate...

We figured out a layout we liked

And went to work on jobs

Around the place.

We are getting better at reading

What the other is saying

-which is 90% of the time 

What the other is thinking anyway-

And just started "doing" .

The kitchen is Cloroxed and unpacked,

Tables set up and numbered,

Photo studio swept up,

Coffee set up,

Even the stock room is well organized!

Tomorrow morning

It's all small jobs.

Hang signs, pack some gift baskets,

Arrange raffle items,

Organize the candy store

And set up for lunch.

So much work today

For an easier tomorrow.

I am sitting right now,

But heading for the shower

And bed very soon.
