A long day of driving.
We left Pigeon Forge at 9am
With a pit stop at the
Russell Stover chocolate factory.

Through the mountains,
And we arrived at the Florida
State welcome Center at 5:10pm,
A full day earlier than planned.

We arrived in time
For Mom to get her welcome glass
Of fresh squeezed orange juice.
A couple pictures
And we were off again.

Drove through a blinding rain.storm
Almost immediately after leaving
The welcome Center area.
Like cars were stopped
on the highway rain storm.

Excitedly, we finally arrived
At exit 318 where,
The Disney outlet
USED to be..... :(
Oh well, checked into our hotel
And went to Cracker Barrell
For some roast beef.

NOW!
We are both tiredly
And ready for feet up and sleep.
