I want to be done with this
"Taking it easy"
But whatever this is
Just don't go away.

Yesterday
Coffee and lunch with Dad
Then a prize delivery
To a long distance traveler
Who happened to be in Dorchester.
A quick grocery trip
And home again.

Thought I'd just watch some tv
But when the rain started
So did my yawning.
I napped until 5:30.

Spent the next 4 hours
Slumped on the sofa.
At 9:30 both of us were bored
With tv and headed upstairs
To read... John has found a book
That has held his interest!!!!

Here I am at 9am.
I want to go go go
But I can't seem to wake up.
I have a whole day ahead of me
That has NO plans!
I can do anything!

Apparently that will be
Lay here and read for a bit.
