Yesterday had no big plans
But ended up being great.

Pit stop first at Mom's
For a quick visit at coffee.
Then took my niece out
"Clearance" shopping
And found some great deals,
Stayed in budget
And had a fantastic time.

Got her organized and sent home
And finished the last 2 episodes
Of Broke Girls season 6.

Off to the beer store
To return a car full of empties
And pick up a 12 pack for John
For tomorrow night's bbq.

Outside to weed the gardens
And pull some dead out
Of the oversized ditch lilies.

Inside again we had soup
And grilled cheese for supper
(My request - hmmmm)
And at 9pm crashed upstairs
Due to some leg cramps.

Today is all about prepping.
John is starting the smoker
Before he naps tomorrow.
I am going to make....
Still unknown potluck item!!!!!!

I have to set up the yard
And clean tables etc.
The bbq probably needs a cleaning
And an extra table or 2 for food
Needs to be set up!

Dad arrives at 3.
