Early day.
We had a wedding in Niagara.
Thank goodness we started out 2 hours early
because we were sidelined
by an accident and eventually rerouted
the trip through Dorchester.
Smooth sailing until Hamilton
because we were sidelined
by another accident
and eventually we detoured through Stoney Creek.

We med it to Grimsby by 1:10pm!!
We left at 10am!!!
Quick pick up at the Dutch store,
and we were off to Thorold.
We made it with 5 minutes to spare.

Nice full Catholic Wedding and Mass.
Beautiful singer too!

Mom and I headed off for lunch
and found a Mary Brown's chicken
and it was delicious.

We headed back to Merriton
for the reception after a quick pit stop
at Shoppers for pop on sale.

The restaurant was beautiful.
It used to be a paper mill,
now it is beautifully decorated
like its from the 20's.

Lots of appetizers including lobster balls
during the cocktail hour.
Then it was up to the ballroom
for the receiving line,
a candy bar,
and open bar.

The wedding reception was well planned!
A 5 course dinner was broken up
with all the speeches!
Stuffed rice balls, stacked salad,
cheese ravioli, then steak or chicken
finishing with lemon and raspberry gelato
to finish the meal.

Our table was having a riot,
laughing and joking.
We finally finished eating
at 9:30pm!

An hour and a half later
they were serving pizza and pastries!!

We left before that.
FINALLY home before 1am.

Bedtime.
