Starting the day
Half way through a day
After staying up
For half the night at the hospital.

The call came at 3
For permission to send Dad
Due to chest pain.

After getting ready,
thawing the car
Frost??? Frig!!!
And picking up Mom
We still beat the ambulance
To emergency.

Dad was in good spirits
And very talkative
(Maybe I should visit at 3am
More often eh?)
I had him tell us the whole story
Just in case he got...
"Lazy\sleepy\dozy"

The docor finally came in
Ruled out a heart attack
(I had already done that)
Ruled out a stroke
(Me too)
Could not explain the numbness
(I suggested the aneurysm)
He booked a CT.

Bloodwork came back ok
And he checked his lungs
They found he was slightly dehydrated
And had pneumonia again.
The IV antibiotics were started.

Called Valleyview to come pick him up
Got gas (I was on empty)
Got Mom home
Came home and crashed until now.

Woke up starving and
Considering a project completion day.
