Dad is hosting
Easter dinner today.

Turkey, stuffing, cranberries,
Ham, applesauce, meatballs,
twice baked potatoes, mashed potatoes,
squash, turnip, cream corn, peas,
carrots, beets, beans,
fruit cocktail, salad, buns.
Desserts are pumpkin cheesecake,
cherry tarts, apple tarts, raspberry tarts,
peach tarts, butter tarts,
And rice Kristie squares.

It is all prepped.
I am going to set a big beautiful table
And be ready for the guests
At 2pm this afternoon.

For now I am resting
And recuperating normal functions
From a pain killer I took last night.
