Saturday began

With a wake up call

Announcing Dad is not eating

And doesn't want to get up.

A quick get dressed,

A trip to Spice for donuts

And off to Mom's.

Called Brenda and left a message.

Mom seemed ok

And we headed over to see Dad

For lunch through the glass.

He was "limp" .

But he did eat and talked a little.

Mostly he slept.

Back home again

After a quick stop at Shopper's

I grabbed a bottle of orange breezer

And sat outside all afternoon.

John plugged away at yard work

Until we decided burgers for supper

And we went in to eat

And watch hunger games.

It's only 9pm but
