Merry Christmas?
What's with the snow?????

It was a day of surprises.
John was home earlier than usual,
And suddenly
A Tepperman's truck is sitting
In front of our house.

John bought the mattress
We had looked at on sunday!
He smiled at me and said
"Happy Birthday!"

After a bit of manouvering,
The old was taken away
And the new fought up the stairs
And put in place.

A feather top
Kingstown mattress...
I was told then to head out
And buy new pillows while John
Went to sleep.

The pillow I ended up choosing
Was a memory foam,
Cooling gel pillow.

So now our Kingstown mattress
Is on a Serta low profile box spring
With a Beauty Rest pillow
And a Sealy feather pillow!
We apparently don't play favourites!!!!

Mom met me for chicken nuggets
And I headed home.
Made Italian favourites for supper
And got John off to work.

I crawled into my new bed
Only to discover not only that it's higher
Than our old bed,
But noticed....

My surgical site from 2011
Was open!!!
No panic,
Checked all my stats,
Called the necessary numbers,
Taped it up...
Tomorrow is about reaching doctors.
