Good gravy today flew by!

It was a longgggg night.
Shooter wanted out at 2am,
And Otter brought me a mouse
Around 4am...

So, I slept till 10.

I got dressed in jeans
And headed downstairs.
So much to do and very little
Enthusiasm about doing it.

John came home,
We watched tv for a bit
Before I sent him off to bed.

It took a leisurely lunch,
Before I convinced myself
That I could get this huge chore
Under control and mostly done
TODAY.

It took from 3 until 9,
To clear the floor in my scrap room,
Clean and organize the gift room,
Pack up anything that resembled
Holiday decorations of any sort.

I managed to make bbq chicken
And homemade Mac and cheese
For supper tonight too.

We got word that Valleyview
Has finally reopened the doors
For visitors and the resident
Outbreak is over.
Dad has been in lock down
Since April 6th
And luckily did not get the infection.

Mom is finally over her stomach flu.
She went down Friday night
But sounded back to normal
When I spoke to her today.

Tomorrow is LDO.

Job #1 is to take control.
The mess needed to be portioned
To take back control.
Job #2 is to take back my life.
My life requires calm and literally
Over organized placements.
Job #3 is to evaluate the situation.
Divide and conquer is my best
Mode of attack.
Job #4 is to keep detailed accounts.
Keep up the meds
and accounts of my health
Job #5 is to remember I am not alone.
Friends and family.
Job #6 is to enjoy.
My cleaning and hard work
will provide so much
Enjoyment in the coming months.
