Well day one of his vacation
Was one weird ride!
I slept in
And he never went to bed!

He spent a good portion of the day
gardening and weeding and composting.
I managed to pull down
THREE of the post it note jobs
Already!!!!!
Quit around 4ish,
(John got a sunburn - shocking)
Bbq'd some supper
And he spent an hour
Inviting people over to a bonfire.

Chilly, but fun night
Breaking in the new bonfire pit
With marshmallows and weiners.

Today,
Lunch at Valleyview with Dad
- he wants a picnic in the gazebo
And then it is our gazebo day.
Straightening its legs
And hanging the chandelier inside,
Washing it down etc.

Also hoping the stars will get stained
And then hung up too,
As well as repairing some wind chimes.
