When you can sleep in,
You wake up early.

I headed downstairs
And surveyed the disaster
That my house had become.

After a coffee,
I got going....
Quickly followed by John
Who decided to help.

By 2pm,
Half a bottle of windex and an
Oversize roll of paper towels later
Our house was dusted, swiffered,
Vacuumed and swept,
And clean! Every room!

I headed up to get myself
Cleaned up and ready for
Mom's 76th birthday party.
I still had to pick up
The ice cream cake before it.

A wonderfully large group
Of friends gathered to celebrate.

Homa again,
I made 20+ card kits
For Valleyview tomorrow.
Although I will not be able
To help make them
I wanted to make sure I had
Some made.

Time for bed.
