A day of compromise.

I wanted to work but

Needed a nap.

Took Mom for a drive in the sun

Made a curbside pickup

Of a pond cleaner (barley concentrate)

And took Mom for a dipped cone

At Dairy Queen.

When I got home I managed

Some small jobs, busy work

And then a nap.

Then it was outside 

To do a little garden weeding

And clean up.

I made hot chicken

And a big salad with warm buns

For supper and a little tv.

I am cold,

So I am going to bed early.
