April 5th 2020

Today was palm Sunday.

How weird it was

Not to be braiding palms

Into crosses and delivering them.

Instead I spent about 4 hours

Working and cooking

In the kitchen.

Mom came over

To find a table and chair 

And her dinner in the driveway 

While our table was in the backyard .

John cooked up some burgers

While we enjoyed the sun.

Which provided me with

Another sunburn today.

A quick clean up

Then John and I sat

Watching the Naked Gun trilogy.

The cats 

Are entirely tuckered out

After spending a lot of time

In the fresh air the last 3 days.

Probably be an early night

For everyone today.
